All actions have far-reaching effects. We should be aware at all times that everything we do eventually will have an effect upon ourselves and our loved ones.

 

This is true for religion, culture, nations and individuals. Those who want to live in peace must give peace to those that would war against them. Those who want respect for their own beliefs must show respect for the beliefs of others. Those who desire safety must give it to those who do not have it.

 

This is a fundamental law of human life that cannot be dicounted. To believe otherwise is to disregard the wisdom of the wisest people throughout history. Aware or unaware, we all are ruled by this inevitable law.
