Forgiveness

How often did Buddha, Mohammed, Shankara, Jesus, and other enlightened teachers smile forgivingly at the actions of others? How often will we all err at some point as we work through the lessons we must learn?

Forgiveness fosters a channel of love and understanding in the heart. It creates a pocket of tranquillity in the world. Years of religious observance cannot cultivate our spirit as much as a moment of forgiveness. Only when we practice forgiveness can life blossom into the fullness we desire.
